Is standing over a hot pan while its steaming really good for your skin?

My friend says that it is good to stand over a steaming pan and it is like a facial and is good for your skin. Is that true?Is standing over a hot pan while its steaming really good for your skin?

It opens your pores which allows them to unclog, but if you open them and then are around and put unclean stuff on your face then it's bad, if you use something good on your face like an exfoliate or a mask then the exfoliate or the mask or face wash will be extra effective. Just be sure you finish with cool water and part your face dry to let your pores not stay susceptible.
