What is the latest on dragon skin body armor for our troops?

What is the latest on dragon skin body armor for our troops? There was controversy surrounding it in 2007. Does anyone know if our troops are now allowed to use it?What is the latest on dragon skin body armor for our troops?
No it is illegal to use, the army banned it two months before testing and staged a test to make it look bad.





All other tests on the armor have gone incredibly well. The Army does not want to purchase it because it is twice as much as interceptor armor. That is one theory.





However many people including the army sais that the reason they do not want the dragon skin armor is because the glue that holds the scales together melts at high temp, making it pretty useless in the middle eastWhat is the latest on dragon skin body armor for our troops?
The dragon hunters keep getting eaten.
