What kind of body gels do models use to add shimmer to their skin?

I'm interested in getting that nice reflection from the model's skin but not an oily look. What kind of body gels do models use to add shimmer to their skin?
I have a hair product called biosilk shine therapy and it says on the back of the bottle that you can put it on your legs to make them shiny. You can buy it at hair salons. There is also a product sold at dept. stores called hask pure shine for your hair that I think it says the same thing on it, that you can spray it on your legs to make them shiny. What kind of body gels do models use to add shimmer to their skin?
Water....
is it for a photo shoot?if it is spray your body with Pam cooking spray. If it isn't use a body cream with either a silver or bronze shimmer in it,depending on your skin tone
It's mostly just photoshopped afterwards. There's a website somewhere that shows you a girls before %26amp; after %26amp; it's pretty incredible how much they alter those pics to get their skin to look so clean %26amp; tan. It really doesn't look that good.

This isn't the one I meant, but it's similar.

I don't think it is gel i think it is a kind of powder! So look around for some powders and see if you can test them to know for sure!
Use a good moisturiser and apply after taking a shower or bath. Most models are air brushed anyway.

  • When making red skinned potato salad How do you keep the skin red?

I am making potato salad with red skinned potatoes. How do I cook them so the skin stays red? When making red skinned potato salad How do you keep the skin red?
add a touch of vinegar to the water, not too much, or they'll stay really crunchy. When making red skinned potato salad How do you keep the skin red?
Don't over-cook them. They will still lose some of their color, but if you don't overdo it, they'll keep more than if you boil them too long.
Boil them with skins on but make sure you leave them ';al dente'; and they don't get mushy. They will keep most of the red color.

If you forgo mayo and toss the taters with olive oil, this will enhance the red color....and be healthier for you!
I've always made my potato salad with skin-on red potatoes. The potatoes may lose a *slight* amount of pigment when boiling, but not enough to really notice. The skins are still red when made into a salad. You don't have to cook red potatoes any differently than regular baking potatoes.
You can try adding a little vinegar to the water.
Eventhough they will be cooked...they will still keep somewhat of a red color.

    Slightly lighter, but still red.
You go to the store and buy ';new potatoes'; they are small and have red skins on them and then boil them for about 15-20 min. and the skins will still be intact and red.
When you are boiling the potatoes, do not submerge it in a cold water bath right after. Let it cool down on its own. When you submerge the potatoes when they are still hot in cold water, the skin tends to shrink a bit and just fade away. Oh yeah, and when you're cooking them, add a bit of salt to the boiling water.
Some of the red will still be left even when boiled and made into potato salad.. U may want to try red food coloring for a really really red tint.. J/K
jus use the neck part, thats always red, if that dont work ask Larry
Add 1 tsp. of white vinegar to the water to fix the color, just like an Easter egg.

You must stop washing your face, it takes everything it needs to be protected off.

To get rid of an exsisting zit I use the Proavtic refining mask only, and on the zit as much as possible, not around it. it's mega drying.

I eat lots of spinach, water,. healthy stuff.

I do wear makeup but only Covergirl shine be gone kinda stuff and I apply gently dabbing with a big soft poof.

Why is a part of my skin extremly sensitive and painful to the touch?

On the back left corner of my head(neck), kinda where my hair ends. I have short hair by the way, and i'm a male. Anyways, there is this little area around the size of maybe a quarter where it is extremely sensitive and hurts even just to touch it. When I even rub the hair above it, or when I turn my head all the way to the side, that area begins to hurt.

I cant describe this pain, possibly like the feeling of a sunburn. But there is no rash, redness, lump or any sign of irritation on or around the area.

I am on accutane by the way, that could be a side affect since accutane has many skin related side effects. But whether it is or isnt, what is this pain called and is it anything serious?

Ive googled it up and some had felt it on their waistline and other parts of their lower body and they said it was the shingles. But could it happen even on such a small area on the back of my head? Why is a part of my skin extremly sensitive and painful to the touch?

How long does it take for skin to heal if i get mole removed?

How long does it take for the skin to completely heal after a mole is removed? Will it leave a scar?

Also, does it make a scab as the mole falls out or do you come out of the doctor's appointment with a ';hole'; where the mole used to be?

It's a facial mole that I'm thinking of removing. I don't want to look like a monster as the skin is healing.

Any info would help, thanksHow long does it take for skin to heal if i get mole removed?
It shouldn't be too bad. Are you planning on visiting a plastic surgeon for this? He will probably excise the skin, leaving what you call, a ';hole';. If your doctor knows what he's doing and sutures it correctly you should be just fine. The sutures will come out in about 10 days. It will look ';healed'; in about a week. You shouldn't be left with much of a scar. Skin takes about a year to heal COMPLETELY, but you will by no means look like a ';monster'; until then. How long does it take for skin to heal if i get mole removed?
Hi there, I just got two moles removed today. It wasn't painful its self at all. What did bring automatic tears to my eyes was the several needle pricks to numb it. But the cutting did not hurt and cauterizing did not hurt. One was on my neck below my ear, this one is doing well, doesn't hurt hasn't hardley bled at all. The other was on my face, chin actually. This one has been bleeding non stop, they recommended that I put polysporine on it and a bandage after washing it to take care of it. I have had to change the bandage several times due to the non stop bleeding. It really doesn't hurt, but it sure is irretating. There is what I define as the size of a pea hole in my chin, haven't seen the one on my neck and the one on my face was a small mole. I would definetly recommend going to a dermatologist especially if it is on your face. Mine told me that I am trading the mole for a small whiter (than my normal skin) smooth spot. So for me that is great. Non if it was stop beeding I would be good. Hope this helps. Oh and as far as healing time, he said one on my face about 7-10 days, the one on the neck 10-14 days. Also he doesn't want scabs to form, he said studies show that they actually heal faster and with less scaring if they are not allowed to have a crust or scab form.
When you have the mole removed, most of the time a lab at the dermatologist's office will test the mole for cancer. If they see any abnormal cells, then they will remove more of the tissue connected to where the mole was, and then test that tissue. They keep doing this until the tissue is clear of abnormal cells. (Unless you're just having this removed for cosmetic purposes.)

Once removed, a stitch or two may be necessary. A scab will form, about the size of the circumference of the mole, and then a tiny scar will be left behind for many months...but will gradually become less noticeable. Takes about 2-3 weeks to heal fully if they don't find anything wrong with the cells.
I just had a mole taken off of the back of my leg so i know your worries! It took me about 2 solid weeks untill it started to look normal again. Now it depends on the size of the mole and how well your skin normally heals. It also depends on your skin type if you will have a noticable scar.

At first the area where the mole was removed will scab over and just like anyother cut the scab will come off and you will be left with a healed area. Your results will depend upon how big the mole was and your skin type! Good luck :-)
my dad had some removed and it took about a week or alittle longer than that
It depends on the size of the mole. Larger moles will take longer to heal and more likely to leave a scar. Ask your doctor or a nurse from your doctor's office.

If you have insurance through your employer, you may also have an ';ask a nurse'; option that is free to use. Ask your HR Dept for details.
depends how big the mole is....

if it's a beauty mark size, it heals in 3 days for the most part. This i know for sure...but if it's a bigger mole, it would take longer i presume.
put some aloe vera gel on it after its removed then after it starts to heal a few days put some vitamin e on it.and that will help keep it from scaring.if you do this it will heal in a week

  • How do I maintain oil free skin all day?

My skin is oily but dont have pimples. But its gets oily after 2 or 3 hours. Can anyone suggest me an effective way to keep my face clean or any cream which would help it?How do I maintain oil free skin all day?

Just manage your oily skin rightly. Washing face thrice a day, morning, noon and, night before sleep, with an oil control face wash is advisable. Use tissues occasionaly to dab ur skin, especially around the ';T'; area. Checkout a good sun block which suits oily skin when you get out. Be gentle to your skin and love it, m sure it will reciprocate well. Avoid using soap on your face, use face wash.

I think this is all you require. I wouldnt recommend anything else coz, using any harsh product would not jus dry your skin but also leave it damaged.. And product suitability differs with different people. It is not possible to get rid of such problems permanently, everyone has one. We just need to learn the tactic of managing things right.

I hope my suggestions helps. Cheers Doode..!!! :)How do I maintain oil free skin all day?

What are the average costs for skin cancer removal in dogs?

My 11 year old shih tzu has sin cancer on his upper, inner thigh. It is slightly smaller than a golf ball. What would be the average price for removal? What are the average costs for skin cancer removal in dogs?
It depends. Since it was diagnosed as a skin cancer, ask your vet for an estimate. It's hard to give you an average price as each vet sets his own fees. In this area it would run around $250-300 which would include IV catheter, fluids, a safe anesthetic protocol, monitoring, histopathology, the surgery itself, pain medication, and aftercare. What are the average costs for skin cancer removal in dogs?
Depends on a lot of things -- your geographic area, if you use a regular vet or a specialist, and what sort of cancer it is.

I've paid a few hundred for simple removal tumors by regular vets and $2,000 for the removal of a mast cell tumor by a surgical oncologist. Just depends on a lot of factors. Best consult your vet and ask straight out.
It would depend on where you live, how deep the cancer is..... Would probably cost about $300 where I am, but could cost much more elsewhere.
    It depends.

How long do you have to be in the sun to get a skin issue?

I really like to lay outside after a swim or just in general when it's hot and sunny out.

How long does it take to develop a skin problem from it? Skin cancer, anything that's a problem like that. How many hours?

Thanks. How long do you have to be in the sun to get a skin issue?
Cancers are the extreme skin issue and sun burns are the short term skin issue. Sun burn is classified as a sun issue. That depends on your skin. Cancer works gradually and you get spots and other indications of that such as moles.

If you are going to lay out wear a 45-50 sunscreen that's what my dermatologist has recommended and I have had NO issues ever. I still tan with the 45-50spf but don't burn or get abnormal spots/moles.How long do you have to be in the sun to get a skin issue?
I think it varies. It could be an hour, it could be five, but you should always wear sunblock-as long as you apply that you should be safe.

What kind of vitamin helps make skin and hair less dry?

This time of year my skin and hair are so dry. I've got the lotion and conditioner think down, but are there certain foods or vitamins I should have? Thanks!!What kind of vitamin helps make skin and hair less dry?
This routine has worked for me and I hope it helps you too :

    1. Drink lots of water min. 8 to 10 glasses to cleanse your system %26amp; keep you hydrated. It does more wonders than we think!

    2. At least 1 to 2 fruits a day like cucumber, water melon, orange, grapes etc.

    3. Vitamin E is the best. You can take capsules or use on the face as someone suggested. Cod liver oil is another good option.

    4. Always massage oil into your skin after a bath %26amp; not before else it prevents the water from seeping totally causing dryness.

    5. If the water is too hot, it leads to dryness. After bath, dont rub but pat the skin dry. Use a moisturiser immediately to seal the moisture in. Its more effective.

    6. Cocoa butter, Aloe vera, almond milk are all good for dry skin.

    7. For hair I'd say hot oil massage with olive oil. Keep it for 2 hrs and use a good conditioner after shampooing. You can try hair masks for your hair type too.

    8. Its important to exfoliate at least once a week ( you can buy one or try sea salt too ) to prevent building up of moisture, dead skin, dirt which is again unhealthy.

Hope that helped. Take good care. What kind of vitamin helps make skin and hair less dry?
Fish oil pills.. they have no taste and you can freez them if you dont like to swallow gel cap... they have worked wonders for my skin and hair.. also Hair Cholesterol is very good for your hair..
    Vitamin E

cut the pills open %26amp; spread the oil on your face

    works wonders !!!
I believe that the best answer is to make sure you are hydrating your body with enough water. Everything we consume shows up in our hair, skin and nails. Try some vitamin E to help. When all else fails, find yourself a health food store or Co-op and ask someone there; I have been given many good answers at mine.
If you're not already taking a multi vitiman, that would be a good place to start. Other wise, vitimin A is good for hair, skin, and nails.
I found a great vitamin at GNC. It's made by Futurebiotics and called Hair, Skin, %26amp; Nails. 3 a day and you'll notice improvements in two weeks.
Try taking fish oil capsules. They are very good for your skin and your joints.
Vitiman K is good for your hair and Vitiman E is good for your skin. Also make sure your lotion contains Aloe and Vitiman E.
vitamin E is what your looking for
Omega-3 fatty acids have gotten a lot of hype recently for good reason. They contribute to better digestion, healthier levels of cholesterol and overall health and well being. Taken as a supplement flaxseed oil is an excellent source. Tuna and Multi-grain bread containing flaxseed are also good choices. Lastly don't forget to drink plenty of water! Your skin and hair (as well as the rest of your body) depend on that water to flush out toxins from your body and keep cells hydrated. You will feel better too!
I am not sure about hair, but vitamins ABCEK are surely great for your skin, maybe not all for dry, but they will certainly prevent dry skin and make it tighter, here you may find more details about these vitamins usefulness for your skin:

There are a few things you can try.... lavender oil is good for both the skin and hair, and it smells good, too! But don't use too much by itself. Also, vitamin A and vitamin E are oily. Call a GNC if you need more advice. :)
    fish oil pills help
Vitamin e but have to take it not wear or wash with it
Peanuts, peanut butter, or even jello. Both of them are chocked full of protiens. They will make your hair and nails grow and shine with beauty. Jello works better if you make it up and drink it before it sets. The taste is pleasing and the results are fabulous! For lotion, I would try an oatmeal based lotion. That stuff works wonders! It really helps moisturize your skin minus the oily stuff that I hate so much!

  • What is the cause of pyoderma(skin infection) and how can it be treated and cured?

Pyoderma gangrenosum is an uncommon ulcerative cutaneous condition of uncertain etiology. It is a disease that causes tissue to become necrotic, causing deep ulcers that usually occur on the legs. When they occur, they can lead to chronic wounds. PG usually starts suddenly -- often at the site of a minor injury -- as a small pustule, red bump or blood blister. The size and depth of the ulcerations vary greatly, and they are often extremely painful. In approximately 50 percent of cases, PG occurs secondary to another disorder such as inflammatory bowel disease. The skin breaks down, resulting in an ulcer, or ulcers, which may deepen and widen rapidly. The ulcers can become quite large. Some patients will have accompanying fever, malaise, muscle and joint pains. Often the lesion heals leaving a cribriform scar. It tends to occur on the lower extremities, trunk, and occasionally on the head and neck. The diagnosis is based on clinical features and excluding other causes of skin ulcers, as it does not have characteristic histopathology or laboratory findings. Pyoderma gangrenosum is rare.

Pyoderma gangrenosum is thought to be mediated by the immune system, but the exact sequence of events is unknown. It affects approximately 1 person in 100,000 in the population. About half the people with pyoderma gangrenosum have an underlying chronic health condition. Patients with PG may have involvement of other organ systems that manifests as sterile neutrophilic abscesses. Culture-negative pulmonary infiltrates are the most common extracutaneous manifestation. The lesion usually begin as soft raised nodules on the skin which proceed to ulcerate. The ulcers enlarge and the skin at the edge becomes purple-red. PG generally responds well to treatment; however, it sometimes recurs or causes scarring.

    Causes of Pyoderma gangrenosum

The common causes and risk factor's of Pyoderma gangrenosum include the following:

There's no specific cause of pyoderma gangrenosum.

    Rheumatoid arthritis.

    Ulcerative colitis.

    Symptoms of Pyoderma gangrenosum

Some sign and symptoms related to Pyoderma gangrenosum are as follows:

One or more small, red bumps on the skin.

    Crampy abdominal (belly area) pain.

    Swollen gums.

    Eye inflammation.

Achy joints or pain in the bones and tiredness.

    Lack of appetite.

    Persistent, watery diarrhea.

    Fatigue.

    Tenesmus (pain with passing stool).

    Treatment of Pyoderma gangrenosum

Here is list of the methods for treating Pyoderma gangrenosum visit my site

    http://www.acnecureinformation.com

Often conventional antibiotics such as flucloxacillin are prescribed prior to making the correct diagnosis.

Corticosteroids help relieve inflammation. Usually pyoderma gangrenosum is treatable with oral corticosteroids, but in some cases the type that you can spread on your skin (topical) may be used.

Intravenous therapies include pulsed methylprednisolone, pulsed cyclophosphamide, infliximab, and intravenous immune globulin.

Tacrolimus ointment is an immune modulating drug that inhibits calcineurin and has been reported to improve pyoderma gangrenosum.

Immunomodulators such as azathioprine or 6-mercaptopurine help reduce the need for corticosteroids and can help heal some fistulas.

Some persons with this disease may need surgery to remove the entire large intestine (colon) with or without the rectum.

Other therapy includes hyperbaric oxygen. What is the cause of pyoderma(skin infection) and how can it be treated and cured?
Well, actual causes are not known due to improper studies, b'coz it affects approximately 1 person in 100,000 in the population, but is thought to be due to the dysfunction of the immune system (mechanisms within an organism that protects against disease by identifying and killing pathogens and tumor cells) %26amp; neutrophils (white blood cells). No specific therapy is uniformly effective for patients with PG (Pyoderma gangrenosum).

Please visit this site you'll get all the details. What is the cause of pyoderma(skin infection) and how can it be treated and cured?
Pyo means pus. Pus erupting from skin due to infection is Pyoderma.

Here is something you can do at night. It leaves you with a bit of a greasy shine, so you don't want to do this if you are going out in public.

Wet your face with warm water and blot it, but don't rub, etc. It's okay if your face feels a bit damp. Then rub on some petroleum jelly (Vaseline) and leave that on.

Water is a great moisturizer. It is when it evaporates that it is drying. The Vaseline will seal in the water and the Vaseline itself is very soothing to dry skin.

If you do this tonight, you will notice a difference in the morning, that's how good it works.
The best way to go is natural. Using natural products assures that it i not something in the ingredients causing your problem, because there are no added chemicals that actually may be irritating or causing your dry skin. Plus they last longer!

You should use a natural soap that contains no alcohol. Some great light moisturizers : Jojoba oil, Coconut oil, and Mango Butter. These are not only moisturizing but have healing properties as well.

The itching is actually a sign that your skin is agitated by something. So instead of finding something to stop the itch, find out what is causing it and stop using it. It could be your moisturizer, your face wash, soap, or even the towels you are using.

My face is extremely sensitive so instead of using a towel, I use my hands. I start by washing my hands really good, then a lather my hands up with black soap, and rub it on my face in a circular motion. Then I splash my face to rinse, and instead of using a towel to dry it off, I lightly blot it with some tissue. my face is still damp when I'm done, my pores are open, and i follow up with jojoba oil, or grapeseed oil (I like mango butter but at room temperature it is solid and hard to dig out, and in the mornings Im usually in a hurry.) I just put 4 drops into the palm of my hand, rub my hands together, pat it on my face and then using my fingertips I massage it in using a circular motion. It takes no longer for me to do it this way than it did for me to use a towel. And my face breaks out very rarely anymore!

I welcome you to contact me if you have any questions.
Ask a dermatoligist what they would recomend. They would probably know a solution that is not much money. Always use products without lots of chemicals and artifical things. St.Ives always works well.

    Hope it helps.

Try lotion moisturizer with coco butter.

I am not sure about hair, but vitamins ABCEK are surely great for your skin, maybe not all for dry, but they will certainly prevent dry skin and make it tighter, here you may find more details about these vitamins usefulness for your skin:

    http://www.jurgita.com/articles-id227.ht鈥?/a>
There are a few things you can try.... lavender oil is good for both the skin and hair, and it smells good, too!

How do i even out my skin tone on my face?

My face is very uneven in tone. I'am red around my T-zone and have scars from past acme problems. I really want smooth looking skim. Is there a way to treat this to even out the skin on my face, or can anybody recommend a good brand of cover up. I generally have to go for oil free anything for my face. How do i even out my skin tone on my face?
this may be a little pricey but you could go and get a laser or a chemical peel, they work wonders..it will get your skin back to the natural state..looks and feels like a baby bum.. it will take the dead skin and the acne marks away...How do i even out my skin tone on my face?
maybeline woks wonders just use their concealer over your scars and their foundation to even out your skin tone. you could also get after- bath toners at lik wal-mart just wet a cotton ball and apply twice a day results are noticable in about two weeks.
Get a salicylic peel. Also, you can get a Glytone acne kit from your doctor or from some spas that is great for evening out skin tone and acne scars.
I would try Eucerin Redness Reducing Anti Aging serum. I would really try to reduce the redness and then use a light foundation if you need to.
a powder from boots [i think its natural collection] works really well, it evens my skin tone
apple cider vingegar- dilute it with water 1:1

How do i minimise the loose skin on my body?

I've lost 2 stone and i'm noticing lose skin just about everywhere. I was a size 16 now i'm nearly a size 10 but still wanting to lose about another stone. I think the skin is making me look fatter than i actually am and it's frustrating me.

  • What is the best anti aging skin care product?

I am 34 years old and I am starting to notice small lines developing. So I want to start with an anti aging skin care product line or routine. Can someone tell me what they are using or what you recommend and your results. What is the best anti aging skin care product?
    My wife uses this product

(http://www.anti-aging-skin-remedy.com) and her fine lines under her eyes are far less visible now just after a few weeks.

I have been using it as well and it really does work. It's the best skin care product on the market.

I think they are still giving away a free initial order :)

    Best regards,

MichaelWhat is the best anti aging skin care product?
I also started noticing fine lines around on my chin. I started using skin anti aging products from Xtend-Life in New Zealand. They stimulate your body to produce more collagen and elastin which helps rid you of those fine lines. Their products work for me. To read more and find out where to order from go to http://www.skinantiagingsite.com
The best anti aging skin care products that you can use is the ones you make at home for yourself. I use to use Cellex C products and now I have been making my own version at home for 1/4 the price! I tell all my friends to make thier own products since the results are up to 5x's better than any store bought brand you can buy. You have full control of how much of the active ingredients you want to add.

My skin has never been better. There is a great resource for recipes and ingredient recommendations below:
I know how you feel, girl! Same thing started with me a couple of years ago, mostly around my eyes and smile lines around my mouth.

Here's what Ive been doing and it seems to be working - the lines aren't as bad and I don't have new ones...

    * Drink plenty of water ( 8 - 10 glasses/day)

    * Oral Reversatol Supplement - ResV Pro (I found you a link below for a free trial)

    * Topical cream at night

    * Lot's of sunscreen if I go outside

    Hope this helps, Good luck!
After my son was born 3 years ago, my wife noticed similar problem. We went to the doctor, because she was also taking some medication and was concern something could be causing this problem. I have to tell you that she has tried almost everything. Some time ago, while searching on internet she found a new product and so far she is very happy. According to her this is the best thing that happened to her, and if she is happy, I am happy. anyway, I put the website from where she got that product on the source space.

    Hope it helps.
There is a really great line of anti-aging products, made by Dr. Stephen T. Greenberg. His line is called Cosmetic Surgeon in a Jar, my mother and aunt swear by these products. From an outsider, I can tell you though, that I have absolutely seen a difference in my mom's face, her wrinkles and lines have definitely lessened.

The whole product line I think is around $300, which is kinda expensive, but I know from my mom that one product she says she can't live without is the Face Lifter, it's a firming and tightening cream. That one product will do the trick, my mom doesn't have the whole line, but that is one of the products she has that really does work.

How do I get rid of skin that is greasy with open pores?

I cleanse, tone and moisturise on a daily basis with clinique products but still have shiny skin and open pores what do the celebs do to look so fab?How do I get rid of skin that is greasy with open pores?
You sound like you have oily skin. That means your pores will be naturally larger. Dry and normal skin have a finer texture. My pores are more visible, too, as I've had oily skin all my life. But one advantage is that the oil keeps your skin young for a long time. You'll appreciate it when you get older. And if you saw celebrities in person, you'd see that they have skin like yours. Most photos are taken from a distance, but even the close-ups are fixed in the studio before they're ever published. How do I get rid of skin that is greasy with open pores?

clinque has wonderful products for problem skin, it helped me immensly.
neutragena black head remover and it cleans and closes the pores.its a scrub
    witch hazel. I swear!
i don't no, try 2 avoid greasy foods, or like fried foods. try the neutrogena oil free acne wash. it really works. other wise if it gets worse then get a dermotologist. fabs get plastic surgery like ere month. duh.
do nt used soap wash with clean water and use moisturiser cream
First off just because you are using clinique does not promise you perfect skin. A lot of the behind the counter stuff is not really that different from stuff you buy at your local wallie world and such. Some of the off brand stuff is actually better than the more expensive.

You can get acne products that specify pore reduction. They are a little cheaper on the pocket book too. If you are using a toner after you wash you are wasting your money. The alcohol in them generally dries the skin out causing more production of oil thus giving you a shine. Vicious cycle isn't it.

Clearasil products have been known to do exceptionally well. Give them a try.
You may be cleaning well, but what about your makeup? Putting on foundation, coverup, and powder will clog your pores back up again. The trick is to use little to no makeup to let your pores shrink again.
Celebs use technology called AIR BRUSHED photos. Just wash your face daily and try using a mild soap.
I use Phisoderm to clean my face, and Seabreeze astringent to get rid of the oils. For make-up,I use no foundation, but rather just a light touch of face powder.
if your skin is really oily there is a problem with cleaning it too much. Mary Kay has some awesome oil blotters they work wonders. That will make a difference during the day
Try not to eat dairy product foods in mass, things like yogurts, cheese, milk can make you have greasy skin, also try washing with cleansers which do not contain soap,it really depends on the individual,i had lots of spots when i was younger but my face has cleared up,the oily-ness caused this, hope this helps as the soap free cleanser has really helped

How do I get the shedding skin off of my Leopard Geckos toes?

I just got a new leopard gecko from my auntie, and she said to gently rub off the shedding skin from there toes or it will cut the circulation off. When I do i get her toes wet and try to rub it off, but it wont come off. And the top of her toe is bleeding, and I dont know what else to do.

Maybe becuase its just not ready to come off, but then im worried it will cut the blood flow from her toes and they will fall off..

what do i do?How do I get the shedding skin off of my Leopard Geckos toes?
is this FCHow do I get the shedding skin off of my Leopard Geckos toes?
Mist it with water or bathe it in luke warm water.
Allow the gecko to soak in a container with a wet substrate until the skin is soft, then remove it with a tweezers.
Get a Tupperware tub and drill a few holes in it. Fill it half way with damp shpangum moss. Leave the gecko in the tub with the lid on (that's why you drilled air holes) for a few hours. Repeat this process until the skin comes off.

I would also recommend doing this when your gecko begins to go gray and have a cool moist retreat for it at all times.
best way is to soak the gecko in water and hope it works if this does not try to make the enclosure a little more humid....
Some people peel it off or rub it off, but this can rip the fresh new skin and like you said, make it bleed. it really shouldnt cut the circulation off but in some extreme situations it can if it dries out, but a gecko should never be that dry in the first place lol.

I would wait and see if it come off on its own, but if not i would just try to peel or rub it off again, the extra time would have made it ready to come off.
They should have the instinct to know what to do...I would just let them do their thing. They can also die from being handled too much, so just leave it be.

How do I heal my goldfish' skin?

About two weeks ago, some black dots were on my goldfish skin, what is the cause of such disease and how may I heal it?How do I heal my goldfish' skin?
    I'm brand new to this aquarium hobby, but I bought some stuff called ';Stress Coat'; and it says ';Use whenever... fish are damaged by injury or disease,'; and ';To help repair damaged skin and fins %26amp; replace slime coating: add two teaspoons full for each 10 US gallons of aquarium water';

Hope it helps!!How do I heal my goldfish' skin?
Black dots are common in calico varieties of goldfish, so you don't need to worry about that.

If it is not, however, Stress Coat is useful in preventing disease, but not healing and injuries caused by it. Oftentimes disease are some type of fungus, and this can be treated by any fungus eliminator (for fish, of course!)
it might be nothing -- the worse thing i think it could be is a disease called velvet which is more brown/gold colored. you might want to check pictures of velvet to make sure thats not what it is.
Some gold fish get black dots it in there genes.
treat your tank with aquarium salt, usually 1 tsp per 1 gallon of water

What is the name of contagious skin diseases that eat away at the flesh that have been around for many years?

leprosyWhat is the name of contagious skin diseases that eat away at the flesh that have been around for many years?
You're probably thinking of leprosy, also known as Hansen's disease. It causes deformities over time. It is contagious, but it happens to be the least contagioius of all contagious diseases; it is very difficult to catch (many people have worked with lepers daily for years without catching the disease). It was feared because of the deformities it could produce.

Historically, lepers (people who have the disease) have been isolated from the rest of society. Today they are more likely to simply be treated instead of being exiled.
Your description sounds like Leprosy (Hansen's Disease is what they call it now...), and they shipped people to Molokai, Hawaii to live there. But there is also Impetigo, which is more contagious, but I don't think they ever shipped anyone away for that.
Leprosy- There was also a hospital in Carville,Louisiana that closed in 1998 for people with leprosy. A strange thing is that 1 in 6 armadillos in the coastal areas of texas and Louisiana harbor the disease and can pass it to people.Yuck

Hansens disease (leprosy) doesn't necessarily eat the flesh but causes skin lesions. It will not cause your limbs to fall off, instead it will cause disfigurement or amputation will be needed.

Is Olay Quench good for your skin and make it glows and radiant?

I want my skin to glow and be healthy and not clog my pores. Is Olay the right one?Is Olay Quench good for your skin and make it glows and radiant?
Quench by Oil of Olay is a very good moisturizing body wash. To really make your skin glow and radiate, though, I would look more toward nutrition. Eating healthy and excercising does more for your skin than any skin product out there. Is Olay Quench good for your skin and make it glows and radiant?
I have used it and it does make you skin soft and lasts a long time.
i dont know about this product in particular but i use olay cleansers and moisturizers and their good so0oo..
Are you talking about the lotion or all the Olay Quench stuff?

  • How can you tan a rabbit skin using Non chemical materials and without brains?

Can you just air dry it?

I read that you can use oak chips in water. How can you tan a rabbit skin using Non chemical materials and without brains?
pee on it. seriously. native Americans have been using urine to tan hides for centuries. there is a chemical in urine called urea that is a preservative.

i have a moose hide jacket from northern British Columbia that was made using traditional techniques. and no it does not smell like pee.How can you tan a rabbit skin using Non chemical materials and without brains?
Put a thick layer of non-iodized salt on the flesh side of the hide. Let it draw out the moisture for a few days and then replace it with more salt and let the hide set for a few days more. By this time all of the natural moisture should be pulled out of the hide and it is ready to tan using whatever method you prefer. Yes. there is a way to tan using oak chips but I have never done it. You would have to do a little library research to find how it is done. The Indians used a smoking method that worked for them. Once the hide is tanned, you will have to work it to break up the collogin in it and make it soft. This is a lot of work. One way to do it is to use a baseball bat that you stand on end with the grip down. Work the hide over the end of the bat until it is soft. Use a motion like polishing shoes with a rag. Yes, it takes a long time and a lot of work but it can be done. As you work it over the end if the bat, put some leather treatment like Mink Oil or Neets Foot Oil on it to help soften it.
It is not as good as brain tanning or oak tanning, but you can try scraping the skin and packing it with salt for a week or two.

Then wash off the salt, and work the skin to soften it and smoke it over a fire. I've known of folks to hang them in chimneys but I never understood how the didn't catch fire.

    Doc
Using the oak chips takes WAY too long. I've had great results by first fleshing the fresh hide, then salting it for a week or so until it's dried and hard (tack it flesh side up on a board and cover all of the flesh side with a layer of salt which usually takes about half a pound for rabbit hides). Then, take a knife and scrape all the salt off (it'll be dried and stuck to the hide) and then buff the hide with sand paper to raise the grain. Wash the hide with warm water until it's soft, then take about half a dozen egg yolks and work them into the hide the same way you would use brains. Keep rubbing it in and wringing the hide and working it back and fourth until the whole thing is dry. You have to keep it moving until it's dried (usually takes a few hours) You'll know it's dry when it's no longer cool to the touch. It works the same way as brain tanning (but it's actually a kind of oil tan). Now all you have to do is smoke the hide to make it water resistant.

What is fluid seeping for the skin of the ear?

My father occasionally get fluid from the ear, vertigo, his ear ';closes up'; and pain. The ENT said it is NOT an ear infection, that the fluid is actually coming from his skin. My father can even make the fluid come out by rubbing or scratching his inner ear. Antibiotics will cause it to dry up and heal, but it still comes back. Any clue what it might be?What is fluid seeping for the skin of the ear?
If antibiotics fix the problem, even temporarily, then it sounds like an infection. Perhaps he was misdiagnosed by the ENT.What is fluid seeping for the skin of the ear?
Maybe it's wax from his ear or if he took a shower, it could be the water coming out.

How do you deal with flakey skin during pregnancy?

My face is really flakey today! :( Aside from scrubbing it down, is there any other solutions to this hopefully very brief problem? Like, food choices and such? :)

Facial scrub of choice is Coalface by LUSH, if that matters.

Thanks! How do you deal with flakey skin during pregnancy?
Lots of water.....skin is hydrated from the INSIDE!! I also think a nice rich moisturizer can help too.How do you deal with flakey skin during pregnancy?
Stay hydrated!!! Drink lots of water! Use a moisterizer that contains sunblock.
Moisturizer is the only way to moisturize your skin. Don't scrub your face more than once a week. Try to avoid washing it too often. It is probably more about winter dryness than pregnancy.
I just use baby lotion and that helps with mine.

How can I get rid of skin tags, will wart remover work?

I have 3 small skin tags at the bottom of my back, they are starting to rub on my clothes, any way I can get rid of them without surgery? I thought I may be able to freeze them off with wart remover??How can I get rid of skin tags, will wart remover work?
    Hi,

A skin tag is a common, benign condition which consists of a bit of skin that projects from the surrounding skin and may appear attached to the skin. Skin tags can vary quite a bit in appearance. They may be smooth or irregular, flesh colored or more deeply pigmented, and either simply be raised above the surrounding skin or have a stalk (a peduncle) so that the skin tag hangs from the skin.

n cases in which a skin tag is irritated or cosmetically unwanted, treatment may be done by freezing the tag with liquid nitrogen, tying off the tag with a thread or suture so as to cut off the blood supply, or cutting off (excising) the tag with a scalpel or scissors.

Please never, never try to remove them youself. Wart remover is the last thing you should do. Visit your doctor who will decide if they can be safely tied off or frozen off.How can I get rid of skin tags, will wart remover work?
You can have them removed as a minor operation which is a bit of a misnomer as you don't need surgery as such. You can be in and out of the hospital or doctor's surgery within about 1 hour. I would not recommend hacking or burning them off yourself.
I HAD ONE ON MY EYELID, THE DOCTOR REMOVED FOR ME BY BURNING IT OFF, IT WAS SAFE.

MY DAUGHTER WHO IS A BEAUTY THERAPIST, SAID YOU CAN WRAP COTTON THREAD AROUND THEM, PULL IT TIGHT AND LEAVE IT, THEY WILL THEN DROP OFF, BUT I DIDN'T WANT TO WAIT.
go to doc's to get them removed or cosmetic surgery place. or u can tie some cotton round them leave it until they drop off. it stops the blood from flowing and will drop off but not sure how long it takes.
i've never heard of wart remover getting rid of skin tags. my mother had a couple and the doctor burned them off and they never came back.
Yes, if you can have a friend or partner tie a piece of thread to the base of each one, that will cut off the blood supply and they will drop off in a few days. I have removed a few skin tags this way and it works fine.
Your doctor will freeze them off for you with dry ice. It only took a few minutes to remove a wart from my finger. They use the same treatments for skin tags.

How should I treat a paw pad which had a loose flap of skin?

On inspecting my 10 month old limping pup's paw, I discovered an intact ';flap'; of loose skin. As the flap was certainly ';dead';, I snipped it off to prevent any further ripping, either during walking or chewing. I sounds as though you are caring for this very well. Since it isn't an open, bleeding wound it may not be necessary for you to take him to the vet...unless of course if you think there may be something in his paw.

ADDED: Milashka are you actually reading these questions to which you are doing the boring old copy and paste replies. It helps if your replies actually refer to the question asked.

This one is a classic example of irrelevant advice to the question.

ADD 2. now you have completely changed your answer to yet another copy and paste but at least it's relevant to the question.
My dog Buddie had a sore paw too, (got out of the yard somehow I think someone left the doors or the gate open again, and ran on the hot cement hurting his paws) but three of his paws were fine except the fourth paw was really sore and he was limping and there was a bit of a cut, so I cleaned the wound with a bit of salt water and got some non-stick bandage thing and put that on the cut and bandaged up his foot, he limped for a little while and it annoyed him but it healed really quick and he was a happy Buddie again, I've had to wrap his paws few times because he kept getting out but he stays put now. I hope your pup gets better soon.

I wish I had though of the sock idea, it would stop Buddie chewing at the bandages, hmmm...thanks for the idea.
Soak the area of the wound in a povidone iodine solution, daily. To do this, saturate a large square of gauze with the iodine and place it over the wound. Let the gauze sit on the area for a few minutes, but don't wipe, rub, or agitate the wound. A firm squeeze of the gauze sheet will allow any excess iodine to seep onto the wound, so try this a few times. Apply an anti-bacterial ointment to the wound, such as a Neosporin cream to reduce the possibility of an infection to the area. The cream should be applied gently with a clean piece of gauze or a gloved hand. Wrap the wound lightly with a self-adhesive elastic bandage. This type of bandage is sterile and comes in the form of a roll. Cut a piece long enough to wrap several times, but be sure that it is not wrapped so tightly that it will interfere with circulation.
wrap a bandage around it to keep it clean and dry and avoid strenuous playing until you have taken him to the vet
You put ';Betadine'; on the open wound and then place a sock on the end of his foot and tape the end. My dog got a bad cut on his paw pad and we did this and then took him to the vet, they said that what where doing good and just to keep it clean and continue the treatment. Still take your pup to the vet :D
bathe it in salty water and maybe get one of those stretchy 'crepe' bandages to put pver it to pad it out a bit and to prevent infection if there is a tiny cut anywhere

How to wash off sunscreen from skin?

I feel icky and gross after using sunscreen. Tried all sorts of different 'oil-free', now I use Neutrogena UltraSheer Dry-Touch Sunblock which seems the least gross of them all. Yet it doesn't matter if I scrub with soap and warm water forever, I can still feel/smell it on my skin 2 days later! And yes, I'm compulsive enough that I know how to wash myself properly. :) Tried all sorts of different soaps, didn't really make a difference. Regardless of whether the sunscreen claims to be hypoallergenic/noncomedogenic, it still promotes acne. Only solution I've come up with is to mix 50/50 rubbing alcohol and water and wipe it off with cotton balls. Am I just re-inventing make-up remover? Am I the only person bugged by this? Is there any hope without going full-on metro and getting yet another skin product? How to wash off sunscreen from skin?
Use Cetaphil cleanser... its really good stuff! You can also use a hypoallergenic exfoliator to help in the removal, just make sure to moisturize afterwards, I would use the Cetaphil moisturizer too, very light and gentle. How to wash off sunscreen from skin?

Either wax them or just trim them very small....
brazillian wax. laser. and well... if shaving is the only option then condition the hair very very well. leave the conditioner on to soften the hair. Then with a very clean razor shave in the direction of the hair growth.

And even better than a razor is a electric buzzer. That is actually the easiest and least irritating method.

What is going on with my skin and how can I fix it?

I am an ex-smoker with skin texture that kinda looks like the outside peel of an orange. Bumpy, uneven skin tone and skin that is clearly dry, stained, and acne scarred.

Can you recommend any products or treatments that may help my skin's texture, tone, and color? What is going on with my skin and how can I fix it?
Go onto ebay and type in Zarina (make sure to check the box for include item description, as the name is not always listed in the title) This cream will lighten %26amp; smoothe out the scarring bumps and open pores, its also great if you have blocked pores %26amp; sun damage, also if you type in spa cloth, it exfoliates your skin (same as the ones they use in the salons)far better than any scrub or cream you can buy in the shops. Its a good combination of things to use as you do not need any other products except for an eye cream to stop the old crows feet :o)What is going on with my skin and how can I fix it?
Look up Skin Doctors Gamma Hydroxy cream. Its a re surfacing cream that fades scars and refines wrinkles and and evens out skin tone. its terrific i used it for my scars and mum used it for her wrinkles.

What should i apply to peeling skin from a sun burn to stop it from peeling?

i dont know what to do because my arms are extremely tan right now and since my skin is peeling, the under layer is really light so its very noticable. what should i do to prevent the skin from peeling? What should i apply to peeling skin from a sun burn to stop it from peeling?
well to stop the peeling anything that will give your skin A LOT of moisture is good. like aloe. to stop the pain vinegar will work if you do not have aloe rubbing any cool vegetable on it will cool it off like cucumbers. but i do not recommend apples or any sweet fruit because that will make it sting. What should i apply to peeling skin from a sun burn to stop it from peeling?
Most likely anything you put on the sunburn will not stop it from peeling because that's its natural way of healing. But any lotion with aloe vera in it works to soothe the skin and reduce the peeling. I hope this helps.
Put some noxcemia (or whatever they call it) on it
    aloe vera gel.

What's the best way to get hot pepper oil off of my skin?

I like to cook with chili peppers, but the capsaicin makes the skin on my fingers burn for days sometimes. I've tried wearing gloves or holding the peppers with plastic wrap when I cut them, but somehow I always end up with some of the oil on my skin.

I've heard that dairy products can help, and I've tried soaking my fingers in milk, but it didn't do much good. Any other ideas? What's the best way to get hot pepper oil off of my skin?
wash it with soap and water. to prevent it, try using a fork to hold the pepers. What's the best way to get hot pepper oil off of my skin?
I have heard (not tried) that tomato juice OR mustard helps alleviate the burn. If it was really bad, I'd personally get some butter since I I've read that fat has an affinity (binds to) the capsaicin. That's just what I've heard. To prevent oil from getting on your skin, try using longer gloves
    Vinegar or salad oil
Rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball. Wipe... don't scrub... the affected area. Use a new alcohol-soaked ball EACH TIME. I might suggest prepping for this by lining up a few pre-soaked cottons first. After... be sure to wash your hands. Repeat relentlessly if necessary.

How can i have clear looking skin again?

I used to have very clear and smooth skin, but then puberty kicked in and my face began getting little bumps on my forehead and everything. I dont have acne or anything but i do get those occasional zits. How can i get rid of those little bumps, brownish pimple scars and etc. I use OXY facewash but it doesnt seem to be good, i need something that can clear up my skin and make it smooth and nice looking at the same time. How can i have clear looking skin again?
tell me about it. i started to get pimples at age 16. before that, i only had blackheads.

    remedy:

we all have different needs for our skin, but in general:

use facial washes with salicylic acid to eradicate pimples.

for those ';brownish pimple scars,'; use hydroquinone or other exfoliants you might know of moderately to erase them.

those bumps might be whiteheads. go to your local dermatological facility for a facial. (it might hurt). drink lots of fluids, get lots of sleep, and dont get stressed. :)

hope this helps! How can i have clear looking skin again?
try to use as little as these products as possible cuz htey all contain chemicals and crap, instead cleanse your face everyday and drink 8 cups of water a day.
One thing that works for me is rubbing alcohol. You can buy it at Walmart. At night, put some on a cotton ball and rub it all over your face. It IS really harsh, so make sure you moisturize your face really well afterwards. Don't do this if you have really sensitive skin.

If you get a really bad pimple, you can help clear it up pretty good almost overnight by putting a dap of toothpaste on it when you go to bed.
Acne Free has a new acne fade kit out , I want to try it because I have the same problems you do. But you should definitely check it out, I used the regular face wash kit and it worked for me. On the website it even says that have a acne peel system but I have never seen it.
Wash your face with a bar of soap clean your face at night before you go to bed and once you wake up in the morning too! Also my cousin said get a wash cloth and get it with really HOT water and just wash your face like that (it takes all of the dirt out). I am 14 and I have acne and boy do I hate it! Also another thing is watch what your eating too for other things too!

What do facials do for you? And how long does it take your skin to get back to normal?

The stylist that arches my eyebrows recommended a facial, I considered it and finally gave in to the idea. I am suspose to attend a concert the next day, is that pushing it, or should I wait on the facial? And should I be offended? What do facials do for you? And how long does it take your skin to get back to normal?
No, you should not be offended by being offered a facial. They are very beneficial to your skin. They tighten skin, deep clean and reduce pores, exfoliate dead skin cells, give your skin a fresh, more youthful appearance and a smoother complexion. They usually include cleansing, toning and moisturizing.

Any redness you experience after the facial should be minimal, depending on the ingredients used by the technician. You can apply some aloe vera gel or witch hazel to lessen any irritation that you may have.

A good facial care program should include 2 to 3 facials or masks per week, depending on your skin type. You can also do these at home yourself as there are some great products on the market for home care facials. The skin care program that you start now will help you later as your skin goes through the normal aging process.

Hope this helps a little with your question.

Why would a deodorant for sensitive skin cause me to break out in a rash?

But a regular, or even men's, doesn't?Why would a deodorant for sensitive skin cause me to break out in a rash?
Have you tried not using one at all? Most people don't really need one if they shower daily. Why would a deodorant for sensitive skin cause me to break out in a rash?
There must be a compound in the soap that you are sensitive to such as a fragrance. Myself I'm allergic to nearly all fragrances.
cause you're allergic. it doesn't matter if it's for sensitive skin or not if you're allergic to an ingredient =(
cos ur allergic to sumthing in it

    detox ur liver

use natural / organic / herbal products
Maybe you should use a 'natural alternative'. I'm allergic to many beauty products, after using an expensive deoderant that was especially suited for hyper-allergenic people and still having a rash- found out from a skin specialist it was my razor/shaving cream causing the problem! Food for thought.
omg your anti sensitive so your skin really shows it's true colours
Because there are certain elements that react to some peoples skin, such as aluminium.
Bcoz your skin seems more sensitive than the skin for which that deodorant was prepared.

How to get rid of dry skin on face quickly?

Have just had an outbreak of dry skin on my face, could be due to sun/acne products. Any way of getting rid of it quickly and preventing it?How to get rid of dry skin on face quickly?
well i get dry skin on my face all year and especially during the winter but the best way to get rid of dry skin is to go to your doctor or dermatologist and they will tell you what exactly to do sorry if this isn't what you were looking for but it is the best thing i can think of and it's the most accurate way.How to get rid of dry skin on face quickly?
well with my skin , i used to use pro active but ive learned that it works maby once .... and after that it really doesnt do good for your skin it outbreaks you even more , it makes your face soft though , but it makes you break out real bad , i usually just put a small amount of lotion on my face ( not to much to clog my pores , but enough to make it soft and to moisten my skin..... other wise my face gets real dry , sometimes i get really oily also! but to prevent that , at walmart theres this tube of stuff i forgot what its called but its in a green tube and has cucumbers on it... and its a peel off mask type thing , and it does excellent , when you peel it off it makes you red and kinda tingles but the after use of it is great and well worth it! , hope this helped !
Use an oil free moisturizer. Acne products tend to be very harsh and can be very drying. You may want to try an exfoliant. An easy home remedy is to mix a bit of sugar in with your skin cleanser, massage gently in a circular motion, avoiding your eye area, and then follow that with a moisturizer.
gentle exfolliation will help smooth away the dead dry skin. use a good moisturiser to help prevent it
Use moisturizer after you wash your face and use sunscreen before going out to prevent drying and aging of your skin
Stay away from the sun or use sunscreen and drink plenty of water. maybe you think youre just drinking enough but sometimes youre not. :)
    apply lemon juice

How do I get rid of the moles or melanin stains on the skin?

    Hello,

Could anybody suggest me any of the teatment options for removing of the moles. Recently, I've got a sun burn and afterwards a lot of moles (melanin stains) appeared on my skin. It's kind of embarrasing for me.

Thank you.How do I get rid of the moles or melanin stains on the skin?
Only a dermatologist or licensed doctor can remove moles for you. It is a relatively easy and painless procedure. If you are experiencing changes in your skin after a sun burn you need to get to the dermatologist right away. Skin cancer is no joke. You want to be able to rule it out or start treatment as soon as possible.

    First of all.... some of these answers are ridiculous and totally unhelpful. %26lt;coughs%26gt; stupid men %26lt;coughs%26gt;

I think that you should go see your doctor first. It could be something really simple such as... you need to just moistrise the area.

But it could also be something else... so just get it checked out by a professional but I'm sure everything will be fine! What does it mean when the skin around your nipples are shedding?
Use a moisturizer - you may just have some dry skin - or you could be allergic to the material your bra is made of (like that spandex fabric) -
You'r boobs may be shedding into nothing. Eventually, you will have nothing but two pancakes with little pink rings in the middle.
hahaha nooo they are not growing... depends on your age it might be jsut your skin strechign and those are the results of the dead skin cellls.. but its normal and you frin

What makeup colors go with deep skin, copper brown hair, brown eyes and a coral dress for prom?

For Junior prom i'm wearing a coral dress wity studded straps. I don't usually wear makeup but I want to try it for prom. I use eyeshadow sometimes but want to also try lip color. I have now clue what colors would look good with my coral dress, skin tone, and hair. Please help me out! What makeup colors go with deep skin, copper brown hair, brown eyes and a coral dress for prom?
i'm happy to help! so okay, im going to do this step by step, with help from the mac website, www.maccosmetics.com, because they have pictures and descriptions of all of their products, so its easier for you to get an idea of the colors.

of course, you can always just use the actual cosmetics from mac.

    so...

first of all, wash your face! itll clean out your pores, remove any extra oil, and leave you shining!

second, apply a foundation. i cant really name a color because idon't know the exact hue of your skin. so im leaving foundation up to you =)

    second, eyes.

since its prom, you'll want to look gorgeous. try a simple smokey eye, but with a pop of gold.

first, line your eyes with a black kohl eyeliner, and smudge it with a q-tip. im a firm believer in kohl eyeliner because it looks gorgeous and smokey. i recommend annabelle's black kohl eyeliner.

    next, take a gorgeous goldish eyeshadow and lightly dust you whole lid. i recommend something like mac's ';goldmine';

    http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/pr鈥?/a>

then, take a darker, more brown-gold color and put in on the outer corner of your eyelid in a sideways v-shape, the point being on the outer extremity of your eyelid.

    i recommend something along the lines of mac's ';romp';

    http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/pr鈥?/a>

    then, take a really dark brown color and dust it into the crease of your eyelid, something like mac's ';espresso';

then, take a smudge brush and gently blur the lines and, well, smudge it.

then, mascara, mascara, mascara. put 3 coats on top and two on the bottom for extra drama. i recommend covergirl's lashblast (in the orange tube) its enormous brush is sure to pump up the volume on your lashes.

    next, your cheeks.

    smile widely and apply a tiny bit of pink blush to the prominent apples of your cheeks, such as mac's ';dame';

then, if you want, take some bronzer and put in kust on top of your cheekbones, to accent them, and also just under your eyebrows, to make your eyes look larger.

then, lips. you dont want to go too dramataic, as that would contrast your dress and over dramatize your makeup since you already have a dramatic eye.

a simple, shiny gloss in a thin layer would do, such as mac's lipglass in ';lychee luxe';. your dress will pick out the coral in it and it will complete your look.

good luck being drop dead gorgeous on prom night! What makeup colors go with deep skin, copper brown hair, brown eyes and a coral dress for prom?
Dark skin looks best in bright, vivid colors. Dark skinned ladies can look amazing in deep purples, many of the jewel tones listed for medium skinned girls, and ultra-bright colors that other women can't pull off. If you want to go neutral, choose a deep neutral like chocolate brown, steel gray, or jet black.

Eyeshadow: Brown hair is flattered by gold, bronze, and earth tones,

You should also consider what goes with your personality and personal style. If you are a natural boho chick try earthy tones. Edgy, rocker girls look great in bold colors like black, gray, purple, green, or even pink. Glamorous girls should try gold, bronze, silver, chocolate brown, and other eye catching colors. Those of you who are very girly would look best with pastels or metallics. If you're a sporty girl try something that enhances your look in a natural way like beige, pale rose, or light brown. Also, consider where you are wearing your make-up. Aim to look professional at work or job interviews, girly on dates, sexy at parties, edgy at a rock concert, glamorous at a dance or formal event, and natural for the gym or school.

Eyeliner: brown eyes in black or green.
What color is coral?Id go with a deep red.I guess.

What can I do to get it back to the color of my skin under my arm?

This question is for the ladies, I am having problems with my underarms. The area of my underarm is blackened and I do not like the look. What can I do to get it back to the color of my skin? What can I do to get it back to the color of my skin under my arm?
apply lemon juiceWhat can I do to get it back to the color of my skin under my arm?
use a deodorant that does not darken the underarms. try nivea
I started using Dove deodorant and it not only improved the condition of my skin under my arms but it also prevented discoloration and restored the skin. Now my underarms look just like the rest of my skin. It's not terribly expensive and it might work for you too
It's just dry skin sugar. Use a good moisturizer after you shower, before you put on your deodorant. You might want to try Dove moisturizing deodorant. Also, a good exfoliation in the shower with a loofah or even a washcloth should help get rid of the dry dead skin cells. It takes about a week of exfoliating and moisturizing on a daily basis to see improvement. Switching deodorants could help too.

How do I get rid of skin tags on my neck?

I have skin tags around my neck. It is very embarrassing. I have to keep them covered with shirts that are high enough to cover them. I would like to cut my hair short but I can't because of my skin tags. I have long hair which also covers my skin tags. Can someone help me with this? How do I get rid of them? How do I get rid of skin tags on my neck?
Tie a piece of thread around them very tightly and leave it - they'll fall off on their own after a week or two. You should really get them removed by a doctor, but the thread method works just fine too.How do I get rid of skin tags on my neck?
You can remove them by cutting them off. Keep it clean. Your doctor can remove them but the insurance will not pay for it unless they are catching on your clothing and causing pain. *(Hint).

They can not remove them just because they don't look good, it has to be causing some irritation. Report Abuse

See a dermatologist, he/she will paint a solution on it that will make them drop off but it burns, they also have this device that will scrape it off. The lady that advised you to tie thread on it reminds me of my nursing days in pediatrics, when babies are born with six fingers they tie off the extra digit with thread and kill the blood supply and it eventually falls off....its gross, but it worked.
See your physician. They can be removed very easily.
My doctor at my HMO removed a few with a flat scissors and put some Bactine on the area. He was a very nice doctor and didn't have to do it. I have more now and feel just as embarassed as you do. You may have to pay a doctor to remove them because they are considered cosmetic.

I may try some of the suggestions given by the others, except for the nail clipper. Good idea, but ouch.
Once, I used a nail clipper to remove one from my eyelid. It didn't hurt. Another time I used wart remover for a week while covered with a band-aid. It worked. I also used the nail clipper on one on my neck, and it really hurt, but it removed it. A doctor with a local anesthetic can remove them in his office with a scalpel.
    See a doctor.

    Bookmarked for future reference.
    Home surgery, man.

Sterilize a pair of scissors. Cut the skin tag off at the base. Apply pressure with a clean cotton ball until the bleeding stops. Apply neosporin and a band-aid. Do this once a week or so, one or two at a time so you're not covered in bandages and sores all the time. Your doctor can do this for you, but it is cosmetic rather than medically necessary, so your insurance will likely not pay for it.
    What are skin tags?
the best solution is an operation

Today there is a massive amount of anti-aging skin care products in the market for sale. Anti-aging products vary tremendously in price from cheap to very expensive. So, how do you select which are the best anti aging skin care products for your own use?

First, you need to identify the reasons you need the products. Is there anthing about your skin that is making you look older? Typically, the leading problems are wrinkles and age spots followed by by dry skin and dark circles under the eyes. Many of these problems are a natural part of aging but poor lifestyle choices make them worse. Other factors including lack of exercise, sun exposure, stress, smoking, and sleep deprivation can all lead to skin problems. If you are affected by any of these factors you need to find some suitable anti aging skin care products to try.

Check the list of key ingredients

While there are new and sometimes excellent products being developed, there are some key ingredients that have been well researched and proven to be effective. Among these are antioxidants, sunscreen and a good moisturizer. Antioxidants work from within by preventing free radicals from attacking the skin鈥檚 collagen supply. A good quality sunscreen witrh an SPF of 15 or more is considered necessary to avoid sun damaged skin. Vitamins A and C play an important part in minimizing wrinkles and skin conditions as do certain plant extracts. Dry skin always makes skin look older than it is, so hydrating your skin with a good quality moisturizer is recommended.

    Get recommendations

There is no need to reinvent the wheel, nor to sample every single product on the market when you notice increasing signs of aging. Your friends or doctor can often recommend a good anti-aging skin care product based on their experience. Find out from other people you know what worked for them and also what never worked. Be sure to explain your skin care issues you are trying to improve so that they give the proper product recommendation. You can then go off and research their recommendations on various websites. The internet is a great information resource and you should be able to easily find descriptions of products, reviews from product users as well as price comparisons. Use a product according to directions for at least a couple of months in order to judge its effectiveness. No anti-aging product will give you immediate results.
Never listen to anyone, any answer here. There is nothing------------NOTHING as ';anti-aging'; substances in this world where man is mortal! Please forget about all those cosmetics advertisements. Your age , i.e. 34 indicates that you age is increasing, admit it? At best you can take care of your skin so that they remain 'fresh' till 40

.................that's all. (exclude some exceptions what are in fact genetics)
Here is an article that I found that may answer your question. My wife and I use these products and also use their supplements for one main reason --they work and are safe. Check out their website and sign up for the newsletter its worth it.

The best, simplest, and healthiest way, is to go at it from inside your body. This company sells vitamins specifically for anti-aging. I haven't tried their anti-aging vitamins because I am only 18, but every other product I have used from them works wonders.
