What kind of vitamin helps make skin and hair less dry?

This time of year my skin and hair are so dry. I've got the lotion and conditioner think down, but are there certain foods or vitamins I should have? Thanks!!What kind of vitamin helps make skin and hair less dry?
This routine has worked for me and I hope it helps you too :

1. Drink lots of water min. 8 to 10 glasses to cleanse your system %26amp; keep you hydrated. It does more wonders than we think!

2. At least 1 to 2 fruits a day like cucumber, water melon, orange, grapes etc.

3. Vitamin E is the best. You can take capsules or use on the face as someone suggested. Cod liver oil is another good option.

4. Always massage oil into your skin after a bath %26amp; not before else it prevents the water from seeping totally causing dryness.

5. If the water is too hot, it leads to dryness. After bath, dont rub but pat the skin dry. Use a moisturiser immediately to seal the moisture in. Its more effective.

6. Cocoa butter, Aloe vera, almond milk are all good for dry skin.

7. For hair I'd say hot oil massage with olive oil. Keep it for 2 hrs and use a good conditioner after shampooing. You can try hair masks for your hair type too.

8. Its important to exfoliate at least once a week ( you can buy one or try sea salt too ) to prevent building up of moisture, dead skin, dirt which is again unhealthy.

Hope that helped. Take good care. What kind of vitamin helps make skin and hair less dry?
Fish oil pills.. they have no taste and you can freez them if you dont like to swallow gel cap... they have worked wonders for my skin and hair.. also Hair Cholesterol is very good for your hair..
Vitamin E

cut the pills open %26amp; spread the oil on your face

works wonders !!!
I believe that the best answer is to make sure you are hydrating your body with enough water. Everything we consume shows up in our hair, skin and nails. Try some vitamin E to help. When all else fails, find yourself a health food store or Co-op and ask someone there; I have been given many good answers at mine.
If you're not already taking a multi vitiman, that would be a good place to start. Other wise, vitimin A is good for hair, skin, and nails.
I found a great vitamin at GNC. It's made by Futurebiotics and called Hair, Skin, %26amp; Nails. 3 a day and you'll notice improvements in two weeks.
Try taking fish oil capsules. They are very good for your skin and your joints.
Vitiman K is good for your hair and Vitiman E is good for your skin. Also make sure your lotion contains Aloe and Vitiman E.
vitamin E is what your looking for
Omega-3 fatty acids have gotten a lot of hype recently for good reason. They contribute to better digestion, healthier levels of cholesterol and overall health and well being. Taken as a supplement flaxseed oil is an excellent source. Tuna and Multi-grain bread containing flaxseed are also good choices. Lastly don't forget to drink plenty of water! Your skin and hair (as well as the rest of your body) depend on that water to flush out toxins from your body and keep cells hydrated. You will feel better too!
I am not sure about hair, but vitamins ABCEK are surely great for your skin, maybe not all for dry, but they will certainly prevent dry skin and make it tighter, here you may find more details about these vitamins usefulness for your skin:

There are a few things you can try.... lavender oil is good for both the skin and hair, and it smells good, too! But don't use too much by itself. Also, vitamin A and vitamin E are oily. Call a GNC if you need more advice. :)
fish oil pills help
Vitamin e but have to take it not wear or wash with it
Peanuts, peanut butter, or even jello. Both of them are chocked full of protiens. They will make your hair and nails grow and shine with beauty. Jello works better if you make it up and drink it before it sets. The taste is pleasing and the results are fabulous! For lotion, I would try an oatmeal based lotion. That stuff works wonders! It really helps moisturize your skin minus the oily stuff that I hate so much!
