What kind of diet should i have to get clear and healthy looking skin?

I often have break outs and alot of black heads i am sixteen years old and i know it is probably because of hormones.


But does anyone know the kind of foods like fruits or vegies i should be eating to clear up my skin or any other tips or advice?What kind of diet should i have to get clear and healthy looking skin?
Eat a lot of fresh vegetables and fruits rich in fibers such as lettuce, a lot of apples for the face as well as brocolli.....


Drink fresh juices and not bottled ones.


Do facial masks once in a while such as:


Mix one tablespoon yoghurt with fuller's earth and apply. Yoghurt itself can be applied on the face. It helps to soften the skin and restores the natural acid mantle.


For blackheads: Add the white of an egg to oatmeal and apply for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove with water, rubbing gently.


Avoid as much as you can eating spicy and fried stuff.What kind of diet should i have to get clear and healthy looking skin?
All fruits and vegetable are good for your health





try avoid fats, have carbohydrate food stuffs instead.





exercise a lot, it helps make you feel energetic especially if the surrounding is a sea or park full of trees.
the breakouts might be the cause of hormones and you have oily skin try products that will work for your skin type that will fit for your young age.drink lots of water and eat vegetables that is rich in vitamin C.
Try drinking green tea before you do to bed.





You will hydrate and the antioxidents will clear your skin.

Less coffee/tea/soda





For glowing (face)skin, apply a slice of mashed Banana and leave until dry, it moisturizes ur skin.
Try adding some extra multi vitamins to your diet.
i dunno about a specific diet but vitamin A, vitamin C, zinc, and biotin are good for your skin so maybe find some foods with those


i also heard gelatin is good for your hair and nails if you want those looking good as well
for the medical kinda view, try consulting a doctor or a pharmacists.. use a kind of cream, it helped me.. wash your ace constantly, don't let it get too oilly or dry.. next i think, you should drink a lot of water.. dont be aftraid of going to the loo too many times.. =) just drink! hehe.. well, eat non-spicy foods.. it helps.. tomatoes help too, many have it in a salad or something..

take vitamins mainly zinc, c,e,k and drink green tea also wash your face with goat milk soap good luck

hey, even i'm 16 and i face the same situation! i understand how tough it is... i suggest u drink loads and loads of water--preferably 10 glasses a day, no aerated drinks, french fries, junk food(yes, i know it is hard!), and include loads of fresh salads and minimum oily foods. you can try a face mask too-- i use a besan paste with lemon juice --it is real good. u may even use a mixture of honey with a pinch of camphor--it's a good scrub or even multaani mitti. and DO NOT pick at your b-heads %26amp; w-heads--they become scars in the process.


so, enjoy your teenage and do'nt worry, it's just a phase.
Ah, well I'll go against what everyone's saying and tell you that diet DOESN'T affect skin clarity. Drinking 10 glasses of water will only help a little bit. Go to your doctor because a good prescription will help you more than any diet.
